What is the address I need to send my redundant mobile phones to for recycling?
When you place an order through the RPCrecycle website to sell your mobile phone for recycling you will be asked to select either the FREEPOST or RECORDED DELIVERY option to send your mobile phones. You can also opt to package and post the phone(s) yourself, which will be faster and can provide more insurance if using Special Delivery.
Once you have confirmed your order through the website and the delivery option you require, we will send you the relevant mobile phone recycling pack that will include a pre-addressed label and padded envelope for you to send your mobile phone(s) to us. Please note, you will not receive a pack if packaging yourself.
FREEPOST:
All you need to do is simply place the mobile phones into the padded envelope, stick the label on the front and simply post it back to us. Freepost is NOT a guaranteed service, and we recommend you obtain a proof of postage receipt in the event of your phone going missing. You will then be able to try and lodge a claim with Royal Mail for up to £39. We cannot be held responsible for handsets that do not get delivered via the FREEPOST return service.
We highly recommend using the RECORDED DELIVERY option:
Recorded delivery is traceable and is insured up to £39. This insurance can be increased at a cost. Simply ask your Post Office assistant for more information.
The FREEPOST and RECORDED DELIVERY addresses are listed below should you require either address for any reason. If you are posting in yourself, please use the address listed for Recorded Delivery.
