Suffolk Schools recycle mobiles and raise hundreds to boost equipment funds
Teachers, pupils and parents at two schools in Suffolk have been leading the way in the county for mobile phone and ink cartridge recycling, and have been able to raise funds to buy new equipment as a result. Melton Primary School near Woodbridge and All Saints Middle School in Sudbury have raised £524.00 between them by simply collecting and donating unwanted mobile phones and used ink cartridges as part of the Recycle for Schools scheme.

Suffolk School is Head of the Class for Mobile Phone Recycling
Pupils at Dell Primary School in Lowestoft are leading the way in our Recycling for Schools scheme, having collected mobile phones and ink cartridges worth a fantastic £385.83 in under a year. The funds raised mean the school council can spend the money on new equipment.
The latest collection was carried out in March and the pupils have been presented with a cheque for £114.79 for their efforts. The school council, made up of pupils from each year group in the school, last decided to spend their funds on new playground toys such as skittles and skipping ropes for every class.
